Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026
1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed in your browser when you visit a website. We also use comparable browser storage (localStorage) for the same kinds of purposes — "cookies" in this policy covers both unless we call them out separately.

2. Essential cookies (always on)

These are required for the platform to function. You can't disable them through the consent banner because the dashboard won't work without them.

  • rocio_access— signed access token, httpOnly + Secure + SameSite=Lax, 15 minutes.
  • rocio_refresh— opaque refresh token, httpOnly + Secure + SameSite=Lax, 30 days.
  • rocio_color_scheme— remembers your dark/light preference, plain cookie, 1 year.
  • rocio_locale— remembers your language choice, plain cookie, 1 year.
  • rocio_cookie_consent(localStorage) — records whether you accepted analytics cookies so we don't re-prompt on every visit.
3. Analytics cookies (optional)

When you accept analytics, we set first-party cookies that help us understand which features matter. These are aggregated and never used to identify individual users to third parties. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie banner (clear "rocio_cookie_consent" in your browser settings or click "Essential only" to revoke).

4. Third-party cookies

Payment processing happens on Stripe's domain via Stripe Checkout and Billing Portal. Stripe sets its own cookies on those pages; see Stripe's cookie policy. Live classes load through the Zoom Video SDK, which may set connection-state cookies for the duration of a session.

5. Managing cookies

Every modern browser lets you view and delete cookies. Note that clearing the essential cookies above will sign you out.
